Desde el Alma & Nochero soy
•
The idea behind this event is to create an environment for dancers that radiates as much positive energy as possible. To offer that kind of energy, the event must embody it first—and that begins with the planning.
•
I imagine a tango event like a log of wood burning brightly. Wood that has spent decades growing, slowly absorbing sunlight and life, so it can one day release all that stored-up energy in a single burst of warmth and light. That’s why I decided to dedicate myself to organizing full-time—to give something to this project every single day. Through careful planning, attention to every small detail, and by pouring my love into it, I want to help fuel that fire.
•
But of course, the heart of everything is the dancers. They come with their own love, energy, and joy—sharing and multiplying it through each interaction, each tanda. My role is to provide care and presence, to help everyone feel embraced by the event and supported by its atmosphere.
•
That means good music, great acoustics, a smooth dance floor, light but thoughtful snacks, an aesthetically rich setting, and playful, creative details sprinkled throughout.
•
One element that truly elevates the event is live music. It needs no explanation—we’ve all felt it. The presence of a live orchestra adds something irreplaceable. These beloved musicians, who continue writing the living history of tango, bring their own passion and love. And when they play, the venue transforms into a vibrant whirlpool of emotion and movement.
•
Over the past few years, I’ve noticed something beautiful: people tend to want to stay longer at tango events—especially when they find themselves in a place as enchanting as Prague. I’ve come to believe it’s because the longer you stay, the more the atmosphere builds. The music, the tandas, the shared experiences—all of it grows deeper with time. You start to blend in with the environment, and with everyone around you, to finally become once.
•
And to me, that is tango.
•
•
This is how the concept crystalized. In order to grasp this idea fully and transform it into a realistic tango event, I decided to build upon a well-proven formula: two separate tango weekends, enriched by a special program in between. This “added value” in the middle is meant to inspire dancers to stay longer, arrive earlier, or perhaps experience the full journey from beginning to end.
•
And so, Desde el Alma & Nochero Soy came into being—with the Intermezzo program connecting them like a poetic bridge.
Each of these three parts has its own unique atmosphere, crowned by the presence of live orchestras that breathe soul to it.
•
• Desde el Alma featuring Sexteto Cristal
• Intermezzo, accompanied by Hyperion Ensamble.
• End as conclusion of the journey Nochero Soy with vibrant La Juan D´Arienzo
We can´t wait to hug You my Friends…
